Imtiaz is Director of Marketing for Pivotal Labs, drawing on his years of experience spanning the mobile ecosystem including work with OEMs, Telcos and Developers. He has successfully delivered results in a variety of roles including Consumer & Product Marketing, Business Development, Project & Account Management. Imtiaz holds a bachelor of commerce degree in marketing from Ryerson University and an MBA in strategic management from Wilfrid Laurier University.

A Preview of Open Mobile Summit

From November 12 – 14, we’re going to be in sunny San Francisco for the 6th annual Open Mobile Summit. This will be our second year attending OMS, and we’re excited to contribute our expertise this time around.

I’m going to be be part of a panel hosted by Paul Kapustka, Editor and Founder of Mobile Sports Report, named “Not Your Dad’s Sporting Event: Using Mobile to Convert a Lost Generation into Fans.” He will be joined by Benjie Levy, COO of The Score, and Ryan Spoon, SVP Product Development at ESPN.

Pivotal CEO Pays Toronto a Visit

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting Pivotal CEO Paul Maritz in Toronto. After spending the last couple of weeks travelling the globe meeting with customers in Asia, Europe and North America, Paul spent the day meeting with various customers and 350 new Pivots – former Xtreme Labs employees – in Toronto before heading home.
